8 Courses Required

This program prepares nurses to support workplace health, safety and employee well-being. Learners build practical skills in risk management, health surveillance and return-to-work strategies to help create safer and healthier workplaces.

Program Eligibility

These courses are suitable for Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Paramedics and other regulated healthcare providers.

Program Completion Requirements 

Each course is 30 hours. Mastery is verified through completion of sequential course content and activities, summative unit quizzes, scenario-based case studies, and short project-based assessments. Students have two attempts to successfully pass the self-administered final examination. The university records a score of “SC” (Successfully Completed) or “NC” (Not Completed). 

Program Structure 

The first 5 courses are to be completed in sequential order. The last 3 can be completed in any order.
