Course Description

Learn how to prepare a financial plan and master budget. Enhance your financial reporting knowledge and skills by learning how to produce a complete set of financial statements for corporations in accordance with ASPE (Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises) and IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). You will be introduced to CVP (cost-volume profit) analysis for internal management decision-making, including sales mix analysis, optimal decision-making under constrained resources, cost structure analysis and sensitivity analysis. This course will also provide a brief introduction to Not-for-Profit and Public Sectors’ financial reporting frameworks. Recommended prerequisites: ACCT 0201, ACCT 0202.
