Course Description

This course is an overview of the registered nurse’s professional responsibilities and accountabilities. The course is divided into three units that include the description of the nursing profession as defined by the Canadian Nurses Association, discussion of the legal and ethical issues inherent in nursing practice and review of regional regulatory bodies and legislation.
