Course Description

This 7-module micro-credential helps health-care professionals develop practical communication skills for challenging clinical situations and difficult conversations. Through realistic scenarios, learners will explore step-by-step approaches to breaking down complex interactions using clear communication tools and easy-to-remember frameworks.

The micro-credential encourages learners to reflect, analyze and apply communication strategies that support effective collaboration with patients, families, colleagues and interdisciplinary teams. It also examines the ethical, psychological and emotional aspects of communication in health care.

Designed with simple language and practical tools, the micro-credential focuses on strategies that are easy to implement in fast-paced clinical environments and support clearer communication and safer patient care.
