Course Description

This instructor-led seminar focuses on the practical applications of case management principals and processes in a variety of care settings. Case management competencies and roles in different practice settings will be compared and contrasted. Legal, ethical, cultural and professional issues will be explored through case studies and expert led discussion. A variety of activities will engage students in communication techniques and resource building. The seminar will equip students with tools and knowledge that can be immediately applied in their practice setting. This seminar builds on the student’s prior education and experience.

Course Eligibility

This course is suitable for Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Registered Psychiatric Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Paramedics and other regulated healthcare providers.

Seminar Hours: 7 hours
