Course Description

This course equips learners with the skills to collect, analyze, and apply health and safety data to inform evidence-based occupational health practice. Participants develop expertise in hazard recognition, program evaluation, medical surveillance, and confidentiality, while integrating strategic planning, budgeting, and disability management systems. The curriculum emphasizes the use of epidemiology, surveillance, and technology-enabled tools, including AI and digital dashboards, to support data-driven decision-making and anticipate future workplace trends. By the end of the course, learners are prepared to leverage health data and safety systems to enhance program effectiveness, protect worker well-being, and strengthen organizational outcomes.
